LAS VEGAS, NV—Today, Imbrifex Books is pleased to announce that four of its 2017 releases have received recognition in the 20th annual Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards.
BASE CAMP LAS VEGAS by Deborah Wall is a GOLD winner in the Adventure & Recreation category. GETTING OFF ON FRANK SINATRA by Megan Edwards is a BRONZE winner in Mystery, and FULL SERVICE BLONDE received honorable mention. Edwards’s STRINGS: A LOVE STORY received honorable mention in the Romance category.
Foreword Reviews, a book review journal focusing on independently published books, announced the winners of its INDIES Book of the Year Awards today. The INDIES recognize the best books published in 2017 from small, indie, and university presses, as well as self-published authors. You can view all of the winners here.

Over 2,000 entries were submitted in 68 categories, with Foreword’s editors choosing the finalists, and a panel of over 150 librarians and booksellers acting as judges to pick the winners.
